aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!
Alright… so here's the deal, I just took a ton of time to write you guys and the computer went all crazy and erased the message, so I don't have much time now but I'll try to shorten the whole thing real quick!!! Well, thanks for all the email, it sound like everything is doin good and Blake got home good, and there's gonna be a good super bowl! Well this week was kinda crazy; first off we went to the temple, where afterwards I received a huge suite case full of goodies!! Man the only thing was is that I had to carry it half was across Buenos Aires to our apartment... through crazy buses, streets packed with people and a train full of pot smokers!!! It was crazy but well worth it, opening that package was like Christmas morning!! Thanks a ton to everyone for all the work that went into that package!! We also were a little sick this week with head ache diarrhea and fever, they tell us it's from the sun, 110 degrees with high humidity!!! Fun huh?...It sounds like you guys have your own battle with the weather up there!!! Well this week we also got to teach to a congregation of evangelists,, we did a contact with the pastor and he invited us to share a message with them another time, well we made an appointment... we ended up talking to the president to get permission and a little council of what to do.. But when we arrived to teach them the pastor got all nervous and didn't want us to teach anything and just gave us time to bare our testimony to about 60 evangelists.. it was really cool because when we got there they were all screaming and shouting and stuff, but when we started talking they all calmed down and you could really feel the spirit and feel a difference!!! It was a really cool experience! Oh yeah-... I just found out that I will be training a new missionary! Crazy huh, i just got here yesterday!!!! But yeah it will be interesting to see how things go!! Well my time here is up! I love you all a ton and thank you so much for everything!! I hope you all have an awesome week!

SO BE SAAFE DANGIT!
1/7/08
this week was pretty laid back until sunday.. it started off really well, we brought 8 investigators to the church, which is a ton for down here... and it was all goin good, and then my companion went up to bare his testimony right, right oance he finished there was a big bang. no one really noticed, but me my comp and a guy in our ward ran out side, and there was was a huge car accedent.. first of all the church is o a high was thats like 50 mph and what happened was a taxi driver with passangers tried to cross the road, and got sandwiched inbetween a big bus, and a semi!! so we4 took off running and we were the pretty much the first people there, there was one other person, but it was terrible! I remember running up to the car and it was smashed so bad, all three of them were trapped and pinned inbetween crushed metal! and they were bleeding everywhere! we tried talking to them but all the could do was grown! so we ripped off the back windshield because one of them was trying to leave through it, but then a volunteer firefighter started yelling to leave them alone and stuff like that, and to wait until help came.. so in no time the police, firefighters and ambulances were there to cut away the meltal and stuff like that, but yeah, it was really hard because there wasnt really anything we could do after that but just watch and pray! NO one died but they were all in really bad shape! all that was left of the car was the trunk!! it was jusst another thing to make me realize how blessed we are and how much i love you all! SO BE SAAFE DANGIT! after they were taken to the hospital we took the investigators home and yeah... the whole morning was just kinda crazy!!

the other day we were teaching a family outside on their porch, and there neighbors were listening to music really loud! everyone down here puts their speakers out side and blasts it! but yeah, we were teaching and my comp was talking and i was just praying that these guys would understand and feel the spirit! but right when my comp started talking about joseph smith the speakers started crackling and puff..... the speakers blew!!! now thats not exactly what i was praying for, but i know that it was an answer to my prayers to help invite the spirit to touch the hearts of this family!

***A couple, Kay and Janae Anderson, from Kyle's home ward flew into Buenos Aires on their way to their Antartic cruise. Kyle's parents were able to pack a suitcase to the limit full of goodies and the Andersons delivered it to Kyle's mission home. We can't wait to hear about how he liked the luggage, seeing as (as of his last email) his Christmas package still hasn't been delivered. Here's an excerpts from an email that was sent to family and friends by the Anderson's:
"Before the cruise, in Buenos Aries we had a job to do. Kyle Steele from our ward is serving in the Buenos Aries West Mission and we told his parents we could take a package to him. He hadn't received his Christmas package so they re-sent the same stuff… peanut butter, a Leatherman, jerky, pictures, comforts from home…maybe a few more pounds than the first. We said it could be suitcase size up to 50 lbs, so they got us the address and the 50 lb suit case. The night before the cruise I called an Argentine woman from our ward and told her what we were doing. She freaked, she said I would never make it and all the reasons why… city of 11 million, congested traffic, dishonest people etc. I was afraid but figured we would do our best. We got off the plane and found the official taxi company. The address we had was a mailing address but luckily I printed off the phone number from the internet, the cab company called them and I spoke to Elder Avery who gave us the address and some landmarks. We had the cab take us to the mission office and to our cruise ship in an hour and a half. We had about 4 hours to do this. We saw the temple right by the airport too. My friend gave us her grandkid's small stuffed animal cat "Nemo," who has been around the world, to take pictures of. We took pictures of Nemo doing humanitarian service delivering the suitcase to Elder Steele and participating in the muster drill. Love, Janae (and Kay)
Thanks Janae and Kay!
